About the workshop

The growing awareness and individual radiance that develop through our yoga and meditation practice are often not fully tested or refined in the context of larger collective engagement. If we are to cultivate a new spirit of engagement, a new level of social acknowledgement, discovery, and intimacy is needed. Our journey toward social accountability will then merge with our process of personal and spiritual development. Our personal radiance becomes another source of brilliance contributing to the collective glow.

How do we strengthen the connection between our personal development and collective responsibility and interdependence? What practices might be available to support this connection? What opportunities do we see in community involvement to bring the personal and collective together?

Using group discussion, movement, breath, and awareness, we’ll tap into the inherent intelligence of our body-mind for clarity, guidance, strength, and inspiration and reinforce our commitment to this process.
