Due to the devastating coronavirus surge in India, we have decided to offer this Outdoor Yoga! class as a donation-based event. One hundred percent of your registration fee will go to GiveIndia to fund COVID relief efforts in India. GiveIndia is supporting on-the-ground efforts to get oxygen to people who are battling COVID, food to families who are struggling with hunger in this current wave of the pandemic, financial support to those who have lost family members to COVID, and more. We're ready to get outside and do some yoga! Join Linda for a one hour yoga class and an opportunity to connect with our Circle Yoga community in person again. All students level 1+ are welcome. Please bring your own mat, a blanket/towel and water. We ask that students wear a mask upon arrival and after class; once class begins, masks may be removed for the duration of the practice. Mats will be distanced based on Covid protocols. The teacher is fully vaccinated.

This class will be held in the parking lot of the Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church at 1 Chevy Chase Circle. The entrance to the parking lot is next to the intersection of Oliver St. and Connecticut Ave. If driving, please find street parking in the neighborhood.



Linda Feldman

Linda Feldman, E-RYT, RCYT, YACEP, teaches adults, kids, teens and families. With all of her students she emphasizes the mindfulness aspects of the practice. With adults, Linda focuses on alignment and holding poses in order to build strength, flexibility and awareness. When teaching children, Linda teaches fun, age appropriate yoga that allows kids to develop healthy and peaceful minds and bodies.

Through her yoga, Linda strives to inspire well being and fun in all of her students. She works to encourage students' respect for themselves, their capabilities and limitations, and those of others as well. Linda began her own practice in the early 1990's in Chicago and has continued to study in NYC and DC. She has been teaching in DC since 2002.

What to expect in class
In Linda's adult classes you can expect to focus on pose alignment to help avoid injury, props to help all students engage in every pose and the opportunity to tone and strengthen. Questions and comments are always encouraged, but there's little philosophy discussion in her level 1 and 1-2 classes. Each class ends with a relaxation pose so that students will leave Linda's classes rejuvenated, challenged and relaxed.
