Meg

Megan has been practicing yoga since 2003, beginning in New York City, moving to Southern California, and finally landing in the DC metro area. Megan completed her training at Mind the Mat in Alexandria, Virginia in 2016. Megan's teaching style focuses on steady paced, mindful movements with an emphasis on breath and body awareness over holding particular shapes. Her classes always includes plenty of variations and options to create a welcoming and accessible atmosphere for all practitioners. Megan is an eRYT-200 with Yoga Alliance and holds a doctorate degree in molecular biology from the University of California, Irvine. She lives in Alexandria, Virginia with her husband, son, and two wacky cats.
