Flow yoga classes involve moving through sequences of poses in rhythm with the breath. The focus is on dynamic movement, refining the transitions that link poses together, and building strength and flexibility for more challenging postures. In Flow Level 2-3 classes, students explore more challenging variations of standing and balance pose sequences than in Flow Level 2 and will explore different transitions between postures. Students will also be introduced to more challenging inversions and arm balances. Students should be very comfortable in Flow Level 2 classes before taking Flow Level 2-3 classes.

Alice Wylie

Alice has been teaching yoga since 2004 and is an E-RYT500 through Yoga Alliance. She received her primary vinyasa training through Tranquil Space in Washington, DC. Further studies include the Pilates mat training through Quantum Pilates, completion of Dr. Ariele Foster’s Yoga Anatomy Training and Jill Miller’s Level 1 Yoga Tune Up® Teacher Training in anatomy, biomechanics, and yoga therapeutics.

She encourages a sense of self-inquiry and trust that you are your own best teacher.

A dancer all her life, Alice received her B.S. in Ballet and French from Indiana University and continued to dance professionally for nearly 15 years in ballet and contemporary companies, touring, performing, and teaching internationally. A dance educator for over 25 years, she currently teaches ballet to children.
